Mike and I formed Schaeffer-Chetrit in 2000, after working together on several transactions and discovering that we shared the same business philosophy: total dedication to our clients’ needs and the relentless pursuit of their best interests. All else is secondary. These basic principles have fostered long-term client relationships and the pleasure of representing our clients and their friends, again and again. My reward comes from exceeding expectations and from a job well done.
As a former psychologist, I understand the importance of listening to fully understand buyers’ and sellers’ needs and requirements. And as a former retailer, I understand that every buyer has unique needs and requirements and that every seller’s property needs to be marketed in its own unique way. Our market expertise extends from Chevy Chase to Mt. Vernon Square. We are thrilled and grateful to be considered one of the premier real estate teams in the area – having been named the #3 team in the Greater Washington area and having been ranked in the top 1% internationally in 2004.
Personal info:
I was born and raised in New York, but have been a Washington, DC resident since the 1970’s when I graduated from Georgetown University. Following a few years back in NY to get an MS and PhD degrees in Psychology from The New School for Social Research, I returned to Washington. It is here that I met my husband, Alain, and that our 2 children, Philippe and Talia, were born and raised.
I am fluent in French and Spanish.
